TRAUMA, GRIEF AND RELATIONSHIP THERAPY FOR INDIVIDUALS AND COUPLES IN OREGON AND FLORIDA
All parts of you are welcome here!
Welcome to a dedicated space for deep healing and self-discovery. My name is Debra Davis and I am a licensed psychotherapist and coach and I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. My goal is to provide a warm, focused environment where every aspect of your story is met with compassion and curiosity.
Welcome to a safe space offering compassionate couples therapy and specialized individual therapy for trauma and grief
My practice is rooted in the transformative power of Internal Family Systems (IFS), a compassionate, evidence-based approach that views your inner world not as a problem to be fixed, but as a system of parts capable of deep healing. Whether we are working together individually or as a couple, we will look inward to understand the different "parts" of your personality—the protective parts that keep you safe, the parts carrying the heavy weight of trauma or grief, or the reactive loops that cause friction in your relationship. By approaching these parts with profound compassion rather than judgment, we can safely unburden past wounds and shift out of defensive cycles. My goal is to guide you away from feeling overwhelmed by your internal landscape and step firmly into a place of calm, clear Self-leadership, allowing you to reclaim your peace and foster deeper, more conscious connections. Meet Debbie Davis — Founder of The Kanon Center and Specialized IFS (Internal Family Systems) Therapist
My name is Debbie, and I help you reconnect with your Self—the calm, compassionate, and curious core of who you truly are—to find more peace, joy, and freedom in your life and relationships.
As a therapist with over 35 years of deep personal and professional dedication to inner healing, I understand that the road to wholeness can feel complex. But you don’t have to do it alone.
Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, we will gently explore the different parts of your psyche. By approaching your mind, body, and spirit with curiosity rather than judgment, we can:
Unburden the parts of you holding onto past pain or trauma.
Calm the protective parts that keep you feeling stuck or anxious.
Access your true potential, allowing your core Self to lead your life.
From this place of alignment, you will heal from the past, envision exciting future goals, and find genuine peace in your present life.
You don’t have to keep feeling stuck. Healing, joy, and freedom are closer than you think.
Do you want to feel excited, joyful, and more connected with friends and family—but instead, different parts of you are taking over?
The Anxious & Fearful Parts that worry about the future.
The Angry & Overwhelmed Parts trying to protect you from daily stress.
The Critical Parts that weigh you down with guilt, shame, or remorse. It doesn’t have to stay this way. You are not broken. These are just parts of you that are exhausted and carrying too much weight.

When relationships get stuck, it rarely means the love has disappeared. More often, it means our protective parts have become caught in a painful, repetitive dance.
Instead of just teaching you communication skills or managing surface-level arguments, we look beneath the conflict to understand the vulnerable parts of each partner that are crying out to be heard, protected, or loved.
